Vigil in Untersiggenthal: Solidarity for Iwona and Paula
“It's not the victims who should feel ashamed but the perpetrators.” This was the message heard time and again at yesterday’s vigil in Untersiggenthal. It ran like a common thread throughout the event, conveying the evening’s central message with clarity and conviction.
ACT212 also took part in this important event, showing solidarity with those affected. We stand alongside victims and are committed to ensuring that they are not burdened with shame, but that responsibility is placed where it belongs – with the perpetrators. Every form of sexual exploitation is an attack on a person's dignity and must never be trivialized or ignored. Together, we must speak out, take a stand, and work towards a society where those affected receive the support they need and perpetrators are held accountable.
