«Human trafficking is a heinous crime that tramples on people's dignity and rights. Because I don't just want to talk about it, I am actively committed to fighting this injustice. I am aware that we can only defeat human trafficking together. ACT212 offers me the platform to stand and act together with a strong network and to raise awareness among the Swiss population. Together we are working to identify and protect victims and bring perpetrators to justice. With the National Hotline against Human Trafficking and Exploitation, we have a safe point of contact to which both victims and observers can turn.»

«I am committed to fighting human trafficking, one of the gravest injustices of our time. The victims are predominantly women and children. LGBTQIA+ individuals, members of ethnic and religious minorities, people living with disabilities, the elderly, those living in poverty, migrants, refugees, or asylum seekers are particularly vulnerable. These factors expose them to greater risks of exploitation and violence. It is urgent to change this reality, as every human being deserves to live free, with dignity, and in safety.»

«Knowing that people are trapped in unimaginable suffering moves me deeply. I want to actively contribute to making their voices heard and giving them back the chance to live in dignity and safety. Through my trainings and awareness-raising work, I can help create consciousness and encourage others to see and act — because only together can we make a difference.»

«What I experienced and witnessed during my career with the police in the Netherlands regarding human trafficking has shaken me to the core. We encountered some of the most horrific and degrading conditions. People living like slaves in the modern Western world, being abused and subjected to harmful practices, without any compassion. This is one of the main reasons why I am committed to ACT212 — in the belief that crime can be fought if everyone does their part

«Every person has the right to a self-determined life in freedom. The fact that women and men are still being exploited and abused today — even in wealthy Switzerland — makes me both sad and angry. Through my work, I want to help bring these crimes to light, raise awareness among the public, and ensure that victims are recognized and better protected.»

«"Be the change you wish to see in the world" – this quote by Mahatma Gandhi has accompanied me since my youth. I dream of a world where the dignity and worth of every person are recognized and respected. That is why I choose to work for ACT212 and stand for dignity, freedom, and justice – for all those who have experienced a different reality and have been denied these fundamental rights. Through my work in administration and counseling, I aim to contribute to making the hidden visible, so that we as a society take responsibility and create change together.»
